Activision has published the official Modern Warfare 4 PC requirements: a Minimum row labeled for the beta build and a Recommended row targeting 60 FPS in most situations, with an SSD, TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot required. Official MW4 PC requirements are out
Activision Support now lists the official PC requirements for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. The table has two tiers: a Minimum row that Activision labels for the beta build, and a Recommended row that targets 60 FPS in most situations. Activision’s PC announcement identifies both tiers as beta specifications and says launch requirements may differ. The support page currently lists 70 GB of free SSD storage for both tiers; the table below follows that listing.

Confirmed PC gate

The official requirements table carries the security gate over from earlier announcements: TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot are required to play Modern Warfare 4 on PC, and other security measures may be enforced. Before upgrading parts, confirm your board supports both — some systems only need a BIOS or Windows configuration change.

PC upgrade checklist for MW4
1. Clear the security gate first. TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot are launch requirements on PC. Check firmware support before spending on parts, because no GPU upgrade fixes a blocked boot.
2. Match the official rows. The Minimum row asks for a 3 GB-video-memory GPU and 12 GB RAM; the Recommended row asks for 8 GB of video memory and 16 GB RAM and targets 60 FPS in most situations, not maximum settings. Both tiers require an SSD with 70 GB free.
3. Plan storage and preload. The August 19 official blog confirmed the completed beta's preload dates: August 20 for Early Access and August 26 for Open Beta, with a download of roughly 37 GB. The support page currently lists 70 GB of free SSD storage. Full-game preload timing is still unannounced — see the open beta tracker and wait for an official post rather than an estimated window.
